Day 1
Departure from hotel in Cochabamba at 7:30 a.m. in a private 4x4 transport to go on an impressive journey to the north of Potosi where the landscape changes every 20 minutes. There is plenty of time to stop for a photo moment. After arriving to Toro Toro, the first visit shall be Umajalanta. This is the deepest Bolivia´s cave and only 7 km of this cave been explored yet.
During the beautiful hike to the cave de admired by the first spectacular dinosaur prints. Enter the cave with helmet and head lamp to experience a great and exciting adventure that will stay with you for a lifetime. Inside the cave see spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations, also have the chance to watch blind fish, considered as endemic species of the area.
Day 2
Start the day with the mountains Ciudad Itas. This particular mountain with rock formations at about 4000 meters above sea level that has arisen for thousands of years. Also visit a 2000-year-old wall with paintings a unique view of the entire National Park with is hanging valley, canyons and ridges.
After this experience, visit Carrera´s pampas, an area exposed by nature filled with great footprints of many different dinosaurs. The best-preserved footprints will be shown and explained by the local guide.
Day 3
Today, visit a natural formation called “theater”, a bridge carved by erosion wind and wanted, and admire incredible evidence of the largest footprints ever found in the area. The footprints found are of a 36-meter Tyrannosaurus. After an hour walk, get to the viewpoint gives us an unforgettable sight into the Canyon. There a great chance to see the red head macaw that lives in this canyon. Go down stairs till the canyon bottom in which there´s a unique waterfall called “El Vergel” here you can take a bath in the crystal-clear water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings since the water and enjoy comes from underground caves. Finish the tour by visiting the famous footprints near the village of Toro Toro. Again, hundreds of preserved prints of meat and plant eaters can be admired. After this, be dropped at the place you stay at.
